Field NotesA small personal notebook

A FEW THINGS WORTH KEEPING

Places, pages,
and passing thoughts.

A quiet corner for short observations. Nothing urgent, just things I would like to remember.

A walk before breakfast

The city is easiest to notice before it gets busy. An open bakery, the first tram, and a park that still belongs to the birds.

Reading slowly

I have started leaving a pencil inside the book again. One useful sentence is a better souvenir than a hurried stack of finished chapters.

Keeping a smaller list

A notebook is more useful when it has room for an unexpected idea. This week's list has three items, and that feels about right.
